For this assignment I am going to create a professional looking Product Shot. The type of product shots I’m going to be making is a perfume ad using the skill I learnt during this photography course.

 

1.Who is the client, or company you are representing?

This brand will be for younger men that are trying to smell good and feel a bit different when going out.

 

2. What is the product?

The product that I will be advertising is men’s perfume. These are some research, that I found to be very inspirational for me to try capture for my ads. I hope to get a good shot like these. They are very eye catching.

3. Who is the target audience?

The target audience are young age men are between 25 to 60 years. The purpose of this advertisement is to give them a different feeling when going out and to boost their confident on how they approach colleagues.

 

4. Where would you expect to see this advertisement?

I really hope to see this advertisement around magazine, Television ads and even billboards or bus stop advertisement. That was many people will be able to see it while going about their every day life and they might feel inspired to purchase the perfume.

 

5. What kind of lighting are you going to use to make this look professional:

I am going to use natural lighting from my window and ring light that I have in the houses, as well as a glass mirror to give the get a better view of the perfume, when looking at the perfume bottle.

6. What props do you need?

I will be using white paper, ring light, camera, tinfoil, table, mirror, cubes, and a cologne bottle

                  

 

                                 

                                       

 

                                                

 

Assignment - Lab 5 Deconstruct and RE-CREATE A Portrait

f/5,6  iso100  with the camera   Nikon D3500

 For this assignment I try recreated a portrait by using my mom has the women in the photography that I found on the internet. during this photo shot it was taken at night with the curtain close and the light off in the room. its was very hard to get the half slip to the side,  This took me like a good few time getting this look. I had a ring light to the left side of the face with a blue folder tap onto it. so it could get that cold atmosphere in this photograph. I really enjoyed this assignment at the end of the day. and I wish I had more time to take picture like theses but never available or nobody around at this point for this lockdown.

(Sinead) lab 4- Portrait Lighting Assignment

 Butterfly 

                        f/5.6, ISO:100, 0.5 shutter speed.

                       This picture was taken with a Nikon D3500 using a ring lights. I have the light facing my                         mom face. And trying to get the light underneath her nose. so it look like the butterfly. it                         was hard to get a good shot because the light hard to capture.

Split   

         

                       f/5.6 , ISO:125, 0.5 in shutter speed.

                       This picture was taking with the light at the side of the face, so you can see the half face                           with the shadow on it. was very easy because I just had to bring the light closer from a                             vertical point.

Rembrandt

                        f/5.6, ISO:160, 1/4 in shutter speed.

                       I took this picture with the with the ring light facing the side face to try get that triangle                           look. it was so hard because the video and sheet was so different. I got my mom to turn                           her face a the side a small bit.

Broad 

                            f/5.6, ISO:360, 1/4 shutter speed.
                           I took the ring light and brought it to other side but my mom was still in that same                                   position just like the Rembrandt 2/3 are in shadow now.

 

Loop 

                           f/5.6, ISO:560, 1/5 shutter speeds.

                          This is the loop lighting with the ring light. I had the light moved to the left side , you                              can see the shadow on the cheeks and on her nose that does not connect. It was a bit                                 hard getting that loop shape on the face. Took me 5 shot to get it.

I took this picture without the flash and with flash slow rear getting that good shadow

This was taken with the slow sync + red eye mode. it really brings out the eye of the dinosaur with that flash.

So this is with the bound light I used a tinfoil to blocked the flash from the camera.

 Step 1

This is a photo of my sister turned at a 45 degree toward the window. you can see the light of on half the face in this image so its a light to dark tone.

Step 2

This is another photo I took of my sister at a 90 degree  / parallel angles to the window. it show hard contrast between the side of the face close to the window.

     

Step 3

This photo was taking 90 degree but one side of the face is dark because of the window light. you can see a bit of the light hitting the eyes.

was having trouble with using the photoshop and could not get the name on it and chapter 3 was not working for me 

 

This is john chapter4 that we had to do using adobe photoshop during labs by using the rectangle tool box I had to cut the face in half. then click on edit menu.

The face is on half so I had to drag it to the side by clicking the edit menu to find  the horizontal flip so now it look like a  new face its was hard to do because I kept getting the layer all wrong so the video really helped .

This is the final step so I had  to do the thing again but this time it was layer 2 and made sure the background active so I could see what was going on . so I copy and pastes moving the half side  and used the move tool. 

 it was very stressful to get the small photo on and I couldn't get the other lay to come together.   

This was the liberty had no problem at all the video made it easy to follow the step .
